On behalf of MPS and Uncle Darth I thought I'd drop a line to say we recently recorded episode 14 of Star Talking - so expect to see it soon.
With regards to this Blog we created it for two reasons, one is so we can tell you about any new updates and information regarding our podcast, and two it gives you a chance to ask us any questions or provide any comments which we can then address in our next episode.
So if you like/don't like our show, then let us know and we'll discuss it Episode 15.
I would like to have more episodes of your podcast on your website
Kind regards Deakin
Tonight we're recording episode 15 so we'll cover off your question then. Keep listening for a response.
I am enjoying the podcasts keep up the good work.
On your latest Podcast you mentioned 40 Anniversary Jackets and to have a look on the starwalking website which i have done but guess what no mention of these jackets.
then again maybe i 'm blind and have missed it.
Glad you're enjoying our show.
Yep a number of people have been asking about the jackets. We haven't promoted them on the website yet as we're just awaiting approval of the logo by LFL. It certainly seems people are pretty keen to get their hands on these.
More info on the jackets will be in the next podcast which we're recording tonight.
In case you didn't know, episode 15 of Star Talking is now available. This episode sees us chat about our experiences on Family Feud, including our audition process and what we thought when we were losing after the first two rounds.
Hi guys. I'm trying to book a ticket for the Starwars 40th anniversary dinner in Melbourne. I have to go via the Pay Pal app to pay, and all the cities are American. So I can't sign up.
Email your details through to email@example.com and I'll pass them on to the booking secretary.
Sounds like a problem with the PayPal App...the web site version seems to be working fine.
Good work on episode 15 when is episode 16
I don't know if I should say your enthusiasm for our show is fantastic or whether you're just a glutton for punishment. LOL
To answer your question, we usually aim for one episode per month. This gives us a chance to work on a topic to discuss, plus we don't want to saturate the airwaves to the point everyone gets sick of us. So you won't hear the dulcet tones of our podcasters at least until mid June.
It's great to see you're using our blog though, well done. Though while you're here, be sure to let us know what you like and dislike about the show. After all, it's good for us to understand what we're doing well and where we can improve.
Thank you ps I don't like the swearing
Yeah when it comes to the bad language I'm definitely the guilty party. Still (even though this is no excuse) there are certain words we won't allow which I find are very common in other Star Wars podcasts - using the F word is definitely not acceptable in our show.
Originally I attempted to engage in a bit of self-censorship with my swearing (there's even an episode where I say "sh...er crap"), but as time went on I opted to just go with my more natural 'relaxed' approach because it's just how I speak normally.
Having said that I was aware a couple of episodes ago I did say the S word a bit too much, so that was definitely my bad.
In the end I can't say I will eliminate all my swearing, but I'll certainly do what I can to at least reduce it. :)
Thanks for the great feedback, and don't forget to tell us where you're from.
(PS our next episode is being recorded tomorrow so it should be out this week.We have some great topics to cover off too)
I listened to your podcast number 16, which I enjoyed very much, and I want to let you know I would like a 40th anniversary jacket when they are available please
For dags censorship button could you put in a wookie sound in. P.S I'm 12 and I'm a member.
Glad to see you're a member of the club, I hope you enjoy the benefits we offer including our newsletter The Force.
As for the use of a wookiee growl to cover any profanity, I don't think we're allowed to use any registered Lucasfilm sound FX, but it's a good idea though.
Anyway, on behalf of the team, we're glad you're enjoying the show.
Keep on listening...
Greetings Startalking Gents just listened to the latest Episode(16) enjoyed yet another informative podcast. i'd like to express my intrest in a 40th aniversery jacket, now the hard part me being a larger dude aka fat bastard is there a guide to sizeing as they can very largly between cuts and styles.
As for those who steal from other fans may they rot in the belly of a Sarlacc for a 1000 years!

In case you didn't know, pre ordering for the 40th jackets is now available. Just click on the following link. http://www.starwalking.net/jackets.html
Thanks for the great feedback to this blog. Be sure to listen to Episode 17 when it comes out as I'll talk about it a bit more ... including that pool table party! :)
Does your club have opening hours
If you're referring to the phone...we'd prefer you don't call after 7pm and before 9am, but you can call any day.
Email is always open and the web site never closes.
Skyforce normally runs from 1pm to 5pm in Melbourne and 12noon to 5pm in Sydney. (you can check the web site for the dates of the next Skyforce)
Hope that helps.
When is episode 17 going to be on the website
Episode 17 is being recorded today and should be online some time later in the week. Thanks for all the recent blog messages which we'll address in this episode.
Keep on listening!
Hi guys I hered your podcast looking forward to the next one
I saw on the newsletter that dags won't be doing the newsletter any more :--( :--
I saw on the newsletter that dags isn't going to do it again 😥
Yep you're correct, the next issue of the newsletter will be my last one, and in fact I just finished it 20 minutes ago before writing these words. It'll be ready for distribution by the end of this week so I hope you enjoy it.
But the good news is I'm still doing the podcast, so I'm not entirely vanishing into the nether regions of the Force. :)
Does your club have a h.q.
No...we don't have a H.Q. but I guess you could say that our home is in the hearts and minds of all Star Wars fans.
Of course you can always get to meet other fans by coming along to Skyforce on August 26th.
Can you put me on the game show
How about game days
As you know I'm a bit of a Star Wars nerd and nowhere does this show up more than in our podcast. Well in the next episode I'll prove to you just how nerdy I am - and believe me I surprised even myself with this. So keep an ear out for Episode 19 where all will be revealed. :)
Who is the guest host for episode 19
Why is Chris retiring
Well, All up...I've been Director of Star Walking for as long as you've been alive, so I think I've earned a rest.
Plus it's always a good idea to bring some fresh people with new ideas into the club as it keeps things fresh and moving forward.
Don't worry, I'll still be around. :)
Ok thank you good to hear you
Can I become dag's padawan
Well that could be a tad tricky as I follow the Sith, and as there can only be two of us (Uncle Darth and myself), unfortunately all of our spaces are full.
So your question should now be "who is the Master and who is the Apprentice?" :)
Remember, the Empire is NOT evil, it's just a little misunderstood. With that in mind, Peace is a lie there is only passion... :)
Can you make force five a minicon
I think that the raw power Luke is scared of has something to do with kylo
Well it's certainly possible, the good news is we don't really know but will find out in a couple of months. In the meantime keep listening to our podcast for more interesting topics of discussion.
Have you guys been watching the Star Wars marathon
Hi guys there appears to be no hyperlink to issue 115 please help
Greeting one and all, Here's a topic you may want to discuss. Do you think Disney are killing the magic of the Star Wars Franchise buy releasing a movie every year and saturating the market?
Looks like we have a couple of great questions here, so I'll answer them in turn.
Q) Are we watching the Marathon on TV?
A) For myself I haven't as I prefer to watch the films in the correct aspect ratio and I don't like the Special Editions of the Original Trilogy. I did watch most of Revenge of the Sith though only because it just happened to be on at the time.
Q) Hyperlink to issue 115 is missing?
A) I suggest sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org so they can address the issue
Q) Is Disney killing the franchise?
A) Well it's a good question that a lot of people are asking. Honestly I think it's too early to tell because we've only had two films released and both have been a success. The key factor will be seeing Solo in May next year, a bare 5 months after TLJ.
Logic would suggest that not all the films can be a winner so only time will tell if the release of a new film is met with unhappiness from fans. In any event I think we all knew (I certainly did) that more films were to come - known in fan circles as the SST - because Disney were not going to stop at just 6 x films (3 x saga, 3 x anthology). Though announcing them now was years sooner than I expected.
Be sure to listen to our next podcast where no doubt we'll discuss this in greater detail.
Thank you guys for this podcast I will see you guys at the party chao
Hey guys how ya going I saw the new movie today and I found it awesome how was the midnight screening
Yep our midnight screening was a great success with over 700 nerds enjoying the thrills of The Last Jedi. The best thing about seeing the film with the fans is that everyone gets the jokes and the references. Ya just can't beat it.
Be sure to tune into our January episode as we chat about the film in detail.
hi guys I think that the trilogy will be about the new Jedi order
Hi guys the new issue of the force was good, when is the next skyforce.
Hi guys one question do you guys think the sidous was born a sith.
Greeting Startalking peeps.
After enjoying the last few movies, One of the things that i have noticed is that the Iconic Music score of the star wars movies does not seem to play such an emotional journey like it used too in fact i cant relate any scenes to a specific piece.. What are your thoughts?
Good point Michael, i think we'll have to list this for discussion in the next exciting episode of STAR TALKING.
Hey guys good podcast Cath I found some ittybittys in lilydale
Hey guys has there been any movement on the 40th Anniversary Jackets?
We have been PROMISED delivery on the 13th of March by the manufacturer Synergy Promotions.
But given that we've had 4 other promised dates and they have failed every time...We shall have to see what today holds.
You can ask Pauline at Synergy yourself if you like. :)
I’m a new member and have been listening to the podcasts and love them. In your latest cast Cath mentioned that she listens to another podcast. Is it possible to find out what one it is.
Keep up the good work, waiting for my first Skyforce meeting in Sydney early next month.
To mps will there be commite things at my house
The name of the Red ship at the start of the Phantom Menace that brings Qui Gon and Obi Wan to the Trade Federation Starship is the Radiant VII.
@Dean - I had a feeling someone would know the name of the ship, though funnily enough I don't think I ever did. Either way, thanks for the clarification.
The key now is to get to 2029 when Phantom Menace turns 30 then ask me if I remember the name of the ship based on what you told me here. LOL
Star Talking is Star Walking Inc's very own Podcast.Presented by MPS, Uncle Darth & Dags, Star Talking covers all aspects of the Star Wars Universe.
