  8. All films must fall under a PG or less rating; no swearing, no nudity, no profanity and no excessive gore.

  11. Any films submitted will become part of the Star Walking Inc. library and be available for viewing by any Star Walking Inc. members. Films won't be returned. So don't go sending us your only copy.
  12. All entries must be submitted THREE WEEKS prior to the festival for rating and programming.
  13. Any form of film-making is accepted, including, but not limited to, short stories, epic adventures, documentaries, cartoons, animation (e.g. Lego, action figure, hand drawn), live action, computer generated, etc...
  14. Final entries must be submitted on VHS** tape (PAL or NTSC), but may be made in any format (Super-8, Hi-8, 16mm, computer, etc...) as long as it is transferred to VHS for final rating and suitability checking by committee.
  15. Star Walking Inc. reserves the right to refuse entry and screening.
  16. Suggested film subjects** include short stories, short stories, documentaries, training films, parodies, computer generated animations, stop motion animation, cell animations, Rebel recruitment advertisement/training film, commercial for a new transport, etc... A story with narrative is preferred, but the clock is ticking so get started on something.
  17. Remember, it's quality, not quantity, so a three-minute short story might be the best thing to aim for!

*for example, no taking a still image from a film and compositing your own characters over the top

**If you are having trouble transferring to VHS, contact Star Walking Inc. and we may be able to assist.

***Whilst not a condition, all films really should be accompanied by an A4 (or A3) poster for the film. This can be artwork or even just the title. These would be for promoting the session times for when your film will be screened, and may appear around the Star Walking Inc. event venue and the Star Walking Inc. web site.

****These are only suggestions and should not be noted as guidelines.
